This time I will post the contents of an overview of British castles and palaces against the background of the British Isles’ culture and history. Of course, it’s not just a summary of books on British castles I have read so far, but an original article that adds a unique perspective and knowledge of European culture and history I have acquired through my life as a university lecturer for over 20 years. And another point I would like to say here is that I was born and grew up in Japan and I’m extremely familiar with Japanese castles. Therefore, when I look at European castles, comparisons with Japanese castles always come to mind. This time, I will not deal with the comparison of Japanese castles and English castles, but I would like to work on the essential issues and complete a paper on such a subject in a while.}, pages = {37(037)--65(065)}, title = {美しい古城と宮殿から見える,もうひとつのイギリス}, volume = {56}, year = {2021}, yomi = {ニシノ, ヒロミチ} }
