内容記述 | Cardiopulmonary arrest patients occurred more than 109000 patients in 2008, and increases year by year. In these condition, bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) before EMS stuff arrival will be greatly contribute to 1 month survival rate. It is common that CPR training in schools class in western countries. However, a school hour in Japan does not fit to 180 minute CPR for national standard BLS program. Aim of this study was to evaluate, actual situation of School BLS education in Japan and effectiveness of BLS education for school program fitted for school hour at elementary and junior high school. Material and Methods: study 1: Questionnaire was performed to 7225 elementary school and junior high school in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama prefecture. Study 2: 2350 student were received school BLS training, which our original 90 min CPR training included DVD, discussion, with 45min CPR training used personal CPR manikin model for each student and AED trainers. Questioners and skill evaluation was performed after the class. Results: Study 1: School Basic life support (BLS) education was untried in 50% of whole school. However, teacher felt that it was necessary in the school of 95%. The reason was insufficient teach time and, absence of BLS learning material in the school. Study 2: There were significant differences (P<0.05) of sympathy and kindness toward each others. We found that there were significant improved chest compression and AED skill after the class. Conclusion: elementary school and Junior high school student could learn CPR training within 90min. We hope, this simple method will be contribute big change in Japanese educational of scene. | |||||
